Progress on my blog!

Ahhh...finally!!!! I got some photos on here. It took me hours to figure out how to do it, but I think it was worth the effort. I spent most of the day here on my computer futzing around with the pictures. I am rather computer 'illiterate,' so for me to actually accomplish setting up a blog AND pictures is truly amazing! I half-heartedly tried to force myself to work on 'Workshop' projects too, but alas...not much happened with that. I dragged all my stuff from my studio up to my kitchen table with all good intentions of working on it, but I got side-tracked and baked brownies instead. Guess I'll have to drag all the stuff back downstairs again. I least I made an effort of working on it! :)

I'm Finally Here!!!!

Welcome to the blog of Jill Marie Shulse!! I've been wanting to create a blog for a long time, but I didn't know how to create one. I'm not finished with it yet, but at least I got it started. My friend and fellow artist Linda O'Brien was instrumental in prodding me to have a blog of my own, so here I am. I'm working on projects for the October, 2008 issue of "Workshop", published by Stampington & Co. I'm honored that they asked me to be one of the artists for this issue, but, being the procrastinator that I am, I am not working on getting things done for it. The artwork is due in April, so I always figure I've got time yet. Of course, as time ticks on, I will be like a mad-woman scrambling to get stuff done for it. That's how I seem to work.
