for one day you will look back and
realize they were the big things."

I was lucky enough to be able to spend all of last week at Valley Ridge Art Studio, in Muscoda, Wisconsin. This time I went to two different workshops with Nina Bagley. For anyone who has never experienced Valley Ridge, I highly recommend taking some workshops there. It is such a beautiful and peaceful setting, with the studio overlooking the valley with its rolling fields, vast woodlands, and abundance of wildlife.
There is a wonderful old-fashioned perennial garden just outside the farmhouse, which is in now in full-bloom. These are a few pictures I took of the beauty that is housed within its fences.
I've been dealing with a lot of stress in my life lately, but the peacefulness and tranquility there seemed to ease my burdens and give me a little 'jump-start' to begin creating again.
It's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is
what makes the difference."
